I just picked this up today at an antique shop.
It looked all copper and green before I cleaned it up with some soap, scrubbing bubbles, and nevr-dull.
I've got some questions for the knowledgeable people here.
#1 What razor is it?
It says Made in Canada and has patented 1920 and other patents pending on the handle.
It doesn't have a serial number or date code on the back.
My research says it might be the NEW. Does this sound right?
#2 It still has some green color in the comb. Is there something I can use to clean in between the comb to get the green color out? And If I can't, can I use the razor if I've dunked it in lysol? (I've still gotta clean it again, but hesitant because of #3)
#3 I noticed a couple of small hairline cracks in the handle (couldn't see them before I cleaned it). anyone have a good method for fixing this?
Sorry for the multi-pronged question here. But I really liked this razor when I saw it with the case, and like it even more that I cleaned it! Now I wanna shave with it. Any help would be appreciated.
