Any good balms (no Nivea or U.S artisan)

+1 to Proraso. I use the Blue on occasion. Should be very available in Europe.

My go to "balm" is CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. A little goes a looooooong way. Soothes, moisturizes, restores - really good stuff.

YMMV

I use something similar. Sometimes I just use witch hazel toner + moisturizing cream.

For guys who don't have particularly dry skin, there are plenty of inexpensive, oil-free moisturizers out there.

As toner to use before the balm I suggest Robert's Rose Water and Lucky Tiger.

Even if it's not a proper balm, but more of a serum aftershave, Saponificio Varesino is really good.

I have been using Proraso Blue Protective & Moisturizing Liquid Cream Aftershave. This product is readily absorbed into the skin. My skin appears more relaxed and healthy. Ready for the next shave.

Recommendations for a good balm. Neither sticky, nor oily rather moisturizing, menthol and alcohol are welcome.
One of the best balms comes from beaume.be, for me it is the best out there.
Speick also has a nice balm.
