Any comments on Pecksniff's soaps?

Found some Pecksniff's soaps yesterday in my local TK Maxx. Found a review here but only for the one scent.
They had "leather", "otrient(?)" and "citrus". They looked OK in the packaging (although I thought they were creams going by the tubs).
They're priced at £7/$11 so wondered if they'd be a reasonable buy?

Would welcome any comments if anyone has any experience of the range.

I've seen the same soaps in TK Maxx. They are, unfortunately, detergent based, and may cause your skin to dry badly.

I have a couple of 'em (Fougere & Aromatic Chypre) - at the price you all can get them, I'd say 'go for it' - they perform well, smell nice... I don't know that they are worth the inflated retail prices they command here in the States (I confess, I paid retail for one of 'em - got the other in a decent dbay deal).

Why not? Give 'em a try - if you don't like them I'm sure you can get close to your investment returned here on B&B. (That is not an offer!)
