Hope all is well with you and your families. Just got home from my very 1st antique find which is a rarity because I never see any safety razors until today. I wanted to share with you my very 1st straight razor purchase. I have been DE shaving since April of this year but have never took the plunge on buying a straight.

I was able to purchase this for $10.00. It reads "Tondeo" on the razor and it reads "Tondeo Solingen" on the cover. So what are your thoughts on this acquisition? It appears to be in good condition.

Looks like a disposable blade straight that uses DE's snapped in half. I'm not positive though.

It's a German shavette. It is the same as the one sold under the Dovo name. They don't take DE blades, they have their own proprietry blade from memory.
