My lovely wife took me out this morning to one of the local antique/junk markets and brought me this 1940's Gillette Fat Handle Tech slot head with Bakelite case,made in England for $28 AU. It had a rusty blade in it but after a clean up it's very usable. The nickel plating is ok for the age but I might get it replated

After a quick clean to remove the scum and rust.

I might chuck a BIC blade in it and see how it goes.

I am looking forward to trying it.
