I've looked through this forum and followed the online links referenced here, and also done online research on my own, but still unable to identify this razor. I did learn that Solingen was not a brand name, but where the blade was manufactured. No country of origin would make it a pre-1890 import. Plausible, since it was my great grandfather's razor, given to me by my grandfather decades ago. Hoping someone here will recognize it. Thanks in advance gentlemen!
