Glad you’re feeling better now
Today is Wednesday. I’ve been going to work daily. Still getting cramps (gas?).
I am eating steamed rice flavored with a bit of chicken broth and jello.
Shaving is good. Tabac is great.
Life is good.
Rings so true.
Get well soon!

I cannot believe it’s been 34 years. Dang!
I am almost ready to retire.
I think my body will tell me when.
I told my wife that 1 day I am going to wake up and decide that I’m not gonna work anymore and that will be it.
No advance notice.
Nada
Just call in sick, use up all of my sick leave since they won’t pay me for it, and then turn in my retirement papers.
It's good to read you are well again...Dang!
It’s been a while.
Still shaving.
I haven’t worked overtime since November 7th.
That has never happened before in my 34 years. And this has been by choice.
WOW!!!!
I have been swapping my evening shifts with the guys who like working them. I have been pretty much all 8-4’s.
I am still working a Sunday here and there because of the Sunday pay and because it’s slow.
I am really liking this.
When I get home tonight I will shave.
That was my plan. Lol, my heart and cardiologist had a different plan. DO LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. Don't wait so long God makes you listen, LOL!I cannot believe it’s been 34 years. Dang!

That’s what I did. Love it when a Plan comes Together.

My retirement date is the end of January. Been planning it for a year. Promoted my replacement and have been mentoring/training him.I pulled the plug on the working life near the end of September. No complaints from me so far.
I wish that was an option for me. I have about a year's worth, but as soon as I use five days in a row without a Dr. note they start discipline. After ten sick days it's a 3 day suspension without pay, then 10, 20, three months, and termination. For me the problem is each suspension without pay moves my retirement date back at least a month. Three months would move it back three months. They will pay me up to 15k before taxes for unused sick time, which is about a quarter of what I have earned, but there is constantly talk of doing away with that benefit.I cannot believe it’s been 34 years. Dang!

I'm not lying when I say that aside from my health I don't know ANYONE more blessed than me. Your job is....well, not nice, I guess.I wish that was an option for me. There is a reason I'm retiring at 50 as soon as I reach 25 years service and paying a 12% penalty on my pension to do it. But then again not many places have pensions any more. So it's not all bad, but mostly. They've dramatically reduced pension benefits over the last ten to fifteen years with some grandfathering measures, while increasing employee contributions. For me the good thing is I'm still young and healthy enough to work full-time and that pension will provide an extra 20K coming in for nothing. Hopefully, I'll enjoy the next job.I'm not lying when I say that aside from my health I don't know ANYONE more blessed than me. Your job is....well, not nice, I guess.
Yeah, pensions do seem to be dinosaurs. There is a reason I'm retiring at 50 as soon as I reach 25 years service and paying a 12% penalty on my pension to do it.
