I received this set in the mail today. It seems to be complete and in very nice shape but I think it may be mismatched. By looking at the case it seems to be a Canadian pocket addition but the razor was made in the USA and according to the serial# was made in 1920. Can someone confirm the case and razor are not a match? Thanks Bob

I agree with Adam. The case may not be original to that specific razor, but the date is right for the razor and case. Those serial numbered 3-piece razors were alternatives to the single ring, and their selling point was that they broke down into a flat case like that for transporting ... in a "pocket". Couldn't do that so easily with the single rings, because the head doesn't lie flat.
No, it's not a mismatch. It's a Gillette Pocket set, all made in the USA.
This is a 100 % match - both razor and case made in US!

Thats good to know. The only case pictured on Mr.Razor that matched the scroll work was from a Canadian Pocket Edition.
