Just to be nice, I offered to mix up some Speick for my wife (german heritage) and she accepted, providing that I also used one of those razors she's seen in our bathroom.
"Kind of like going to a spa," she grinned as I whipped up a nice warm batch of lather for her legs. She'd just finished her shower and so it began. Badger brush, just like my face, and Gillette 7 o'clock yellow in a red tip;
"I can't believe how close the shave is!"
Tried a feather.
"Not quite as smooth."

"Almost..."
Fat boy
"Wow that's heavy!"

Now fellas, I'm on a Monday / Wednesday rotation. I'm ordering more blades and have the wife to thank.

Anybody have suggestions for her own DE razor? Anybody else looking for a Lady Gillette??

I showed SWMBO a blue star lady gillette and she liked it so I picked one up for her on the bay in good condition for about $30. I've been trying to convert her for a while so I was happy she finally took an interest. She also loves the KMF shaving cream because it's a great brushless cream. I knew once she saw the stars on the lady gillette she would love it. Oh, and yea she was a little scared at first but once she tried it she said it wasn't so bad, she's still working on her angle and I remind her "NO PRESSURE".

There's great starter kits in the BST, I see Lady gillettes every so often for great prices.
