What's new

And It's Not a Full Moon

Update:

I may have narrowed it down to two things:

Possibility 1: Slight face swelling in the morning. This is normal for everyone, which is why at least one guide recommended waiting half an hour after getting up before shaving. This roughly coincided with more exposure to the sun. Way to test is to compare weekend shaves with weekday shaves. Thus it may not be stubble growing faster, just not getting as close a shave in the first place.

Possibility 2: This is a weird one. It may be from eating oatmeal. Why? Because avenacosides in oatmeal may bind with a chemical that binds with testosterone. I'm eating no more than one serving a day for other health reasons (being that age and all), and not every day. Didn't notice a pronounced effect maybe for a month or more. Frankly I think this one is out there. Way out there. Still, came across that with a list of health benefits, and went "Hmm . . ."
