An article on the past and present of witch hazel

Cool! I grew up one town over and my folks now live in East Hampton, CT. I really had no idea about witch hazel until I found this forum and traditional wet shaving. I have a bottle on the counter now, though!

Very good article and a bit of insight into why there are two versions of Dickinson's today. To be sure though, I keep Witch hazel on hand for use after every shave.

I wish I had known about witch hazel years ago, going back to when I started shaving. Even if more men can't be convinced to try wet shaving with DE razors or straights, they all could benefit from using witch hazel post-shave. Maybe this article on a somewhat high profile web site like the Atlantic will help get the word out.

I cut my aftershaves with it 50/50. It helps them to last longer plus I get the benefits of the witch hazel.
