An "Aluminum" Gillette?

I have a 1954 (IIRC) Gillette Black Tip with an aluminum handle (well, the black tip itself is plastic). It's a TTO much like the 40s-style Super Speeds. Nice shaver. It's my go-to travel razor.
I have a Gillette NDC English ball end tech that I found in the wild. It's all aluminum; cap, base plate, and handle, so it's a lot lighter than a standard nickel plated brass tech.
It's more aggressive than its USA Post-War NDC cousin, but still what you would call mild. The handle is a few mm shorter. Cap is embossed with "Gillette".
