I know, the title sounds like a great movie. Maybe.
My wife, two priests, a gaggle of teens, and myself are going to Syria in a few weeks on a mission trip (Southern Syria, mostly) and I'm staying with a bishop who is friends with my bishop. That being said I need to start thinking about what I'm going to put in my toiletry bag.
I need to take into some variables before choosing an aftershave
1) The climate (Syria in late springtime reaches a high of mid to upper eighties, not to mention it is dry).
2) Annoying customs people. Nothing too expensive to pilfer (apparently customs agents in the UAE, which I'll be stopping at, are notorious for sticking their noses in people's bags and taking things when they aren't looking).
3) Something not too overpowering but smells good (there is a possibility I may be visiting the Patriarch of Antioch in Damascus and getting his blessing).
Any suggestions? Oh, and does anyone know of any Syrian products out there to maybe bring back home?
