A friend of mine had a dresser made of southern chestnut. He gave it to me and I wanted to install knobs on it. It was relatively hard and had a tendency to split.

I usually keep it in the chuck until I am finished with the ca and it has been wet sanded and ready for the buffer.I really like that brush
Do you keep it in the chuck from start to finish normally?
Before going to the buffer I have to turn it around and finish the very bottom
