Went to my local flea market yesterday and picked up not one but TWO fantastic razors!
The first is a 1959 Gillette Adjustable "Fat Boy" date code E1. Almost all of the plating is intact, the paint is still on all the numbers, and the clicker is red. The best part? I paid a whopping $5 for it!
The next is a 1964 Gillette Slim Adjustable, date code J4. Some of the plating is worn, and the numbers don't have paint. Regardless, this one is still in excellent shape. I bought this as a gift for a friend who is a fellow bond enthusiast. As Goldfinger was released in January of 1965, the Slim Adjustable 007 uses in Goldfinger's private plane is almost certainly a 1964! The unbeatable price on the Slim? $1!
