Today was my first ever shave with the black handle Super Speed I bought from member "Books" awhile back.
To say I was surprised, and pleased would be an understatement!
With a brand new Derby, after beating the Colonel into submission with the vintage Dubl Duck boar brush, I was amazed at how mild this razor felt on my face, and when I finished up after my splash of Witch Hazel, I was once again amazed to find one of my closest shaves ever!
Previously, I always associated agression with the closeness of the shave, but I'm learning that it tain't necessarily so! I honestly cannot believe how such a mild razor can give such a great shave... A revelation!
Has anyone else been puzzled by this seeming paradox, or am I just imagining it because I like this little razor so much?
So, thanks to member Books for the beautiful razor , B&B for providing the forum, and all the great members here for teaching me something i never would have learned otherwise..
I find myself shaving more... and enjoying it more!
