Hi,

Am I the only one who thins the R41 isn't that aggressive? My first shave I thought WOW , very aggressive but today used the same setup and thought "this actually isn't that harsh". Ive used a Futur on setting 4 and thought that was much more aggressive?

Yes, Matt, you may very well be the only person who thinks the R 41 is not that aggressive.

IMHO, harsh and aggressive aren't the same thing.

Most of the time harshness has more to do with user error than with the razor itself. Aggressiveness basically is determined by the amount of blade exposure, which increases efficiency, requiring less effort to get the job done. Aggressive/efficient doesn't need to be harsh, if it's harsh probably there's something we can improve - usually prep and technique.

And the most important - YMMV.
