Alternative handle for Masamune head?

I have a polished Nodachi (the longer) handle and while it looks awesome and works well, I want to try a different handle with more relief, and maybe lighter.

What other handle fits the Masamune as is? I guess I could add a washer or something but don't quite love the idea... Any suggestions are appreciated, though!

The Masamune handle is a proprietary "ball & socket" arrangement, so no other handle I'm aware of will fit exactly. That said, it's probably possible to screw another handle onto the cap post threads (not sure of the thread pitch) if the diameter of the threaded part of the handle matches, but as you observe, some accommodation would need to be made for the enlarged hole in the baseplate, which is larger in diameter than the top cap post. Otherwise the top cap, baseplate and blade would need to be adjusted manually when assembling, assuming you could find a handle that fit, but a nylon washer is probably the best option. .
