Alt Innsbruck Aftershave?

I don't know if it comes in aftershave form or whether people are
using the EDC as an aftershave and if they are is this safe/possible?

Quick edit: I'm not sure if the one at Bullgoose is a balm, as the one I have is a black bottle, not the white/clear and purple.

It is in fact an incredible aftershave splash. It feels great on the face, however it is bracing, and the methol freeze is especially nice.

Could someone compare the difference between the balm , the splash and the emulsion --pre-shave which Bullgoose sent me a sample of ? I like the latter, do they smell similer ? Is the balm the same or close ? Thanks !!

It seems there is only the 2 the colonge and the balm... I'm not sure but it says here http://www.bullgooseshaving.net/altincoandaf.html that the colonge can be used as an aftershave too, and I tried it as an Aftershave today and it certainly works. I'm not sure about the balm as I haven't tried it.

I have both the balm and the AS. You can use the AS after a shave - it feels wonderful and smells even better. I love Alt-Innsbruck because the scent stays with me for a good 12 hours. Few others do. I usually use the balm on my face after shaving, though. It compliments the AS used as a cologne and is more soothing.

Just ordered two bottles of Alt-Innsbruck AS from Phil at Bullgoose! Have never tried it but the brain trust gathered here has convinced me it was a wise decision to stock up! I also echo previous comments about Phil's attention to customer service. I'm sure he is one busy guy but he took the time to send me a personal email to thank me for my business. Wonderful!
