Alphabet Story

Since we have our 3 word story still going, I thought I’d compliment it with a game I like to play: the alphabet story. We start at a random letter of the alphabet, and somebody begins the story with a sentence that begins with the chosen letter. The next person continues by adding a sentence that begins with the next letter of the alphabet. Then it just goes round and round like that until we all get bored.

The random letter generator I used gave me an

So that is what we will begin with. Somebody please begin the story with a sentence starting with the letter F.

Friday night, and things were definitely not going well for Kevin...

Great trouble had befallen him earlier that day.

Headache, Hepatitis, Halitosis, Hives, Hangnails, Huntington's Chorea and Heartburn ... luckily, there was a Hospital up ahead on the Horizon.

(Great alliteration)

Into the hospital he went, only to see a packed reception room.

Just at that moment, in jumped a junior janitor, also looking for a doctor.

"Kangaroo bites can be very nasty", he said while nursing his wound.

"lucky for me, i shot the kangaroo and brought him in so you can see what kind of kangaroo he is and give me an appropriate antivenom for the deadly kangaroo toxin coursing through my veins"

"Meat, precious kangaroo meat" cried the famished janitor.

"Not yet -- we need to consider amputation first," the doctor offered grimly.

Oh no! Not amputation, that is totally unacceptable!

Perhaps a periodontal procedure performed promptly by a podiatrist would be preferred by the patient? he said.

"Quite!" The patient whispered urgently...I think the kangaroos are coming back...

Quickly, he quietly queried ... "is this doctor a quack?"

"Reflecting back, would you rather have been ravaged by a rabid raccoon? Being roughed up by a 'roo isn't that bad, really."

Seeing the Roos charging at him, he decided to escape!

 

[Jim]

She screamed!

Too late, the kangaroo had returned to finish his meal!

Unbeknowest to the under-nourished and unkempt ungulate, the uber-doctor (understandably) unleashed a unilateral attack with an umbrella and at once unbalanced the unsavoury beast.

"Verily," said he, "I will be victorious!"
