got this as part of a package deal in a yard sale. Anyone know of it or ever used one?

Never used one! I believe these were employed to stretch blade life in the days before SS.

It’s so bizarre I had to get it. Looks unused.

Good to have in the collection. I have something similar but I haven’t used it. I think they might have been made to sharpen carbon steel blades but I could be wrong. No doubt if I am I will be put in my place.
