What's new

All this talk about synthetic brushes, I'll dabble with one.

Synthetics finally seem to have come of age with many excellent brushes out there that give badger brushes a good run for their money.

I have been using synthetics for years because before my retirement I spend several nights every month in hotels and did not have sufficient time to dry natural fibre shaving brushes.

But judging from the disappointment with a new synthetic that I bought last year, it is still paramount to do one’s homework and scrutinise reviews.
While the best of synthetics come close to best badger grades there are still many out there that leave a lot to be desired.

It still seems to be a good idea to stick to well-known brush manufacturers that have a good reputation.
