All I Wanted Was the Box

Bought on eBay, a Valet razor. I wanted a box to store my blades in when traveling but this was too good a deal to turn down. So now I have a Valet auto-strop, sans strop. Thanks to help from my Blade Brothers here on B&B, I discovered that the Feather single edge fits this. I bought some of those. I will not test this until I have a weekend, and I am on the road for at least the next two weekends.

One problem, I wanted the box but neither modern DE blades nor Feather SE blades will fit in the box. What was it made to hold?

DE blades...without wrappers. Your blades should fit if you place them in the box on angle. Only 3 or so blades will fit.

As far as I can tell only certain Valet blades.
The feather and Valet will fit without wrappers but that means the case can only be used for used blades.
I've been annoyed by this myself and have several cases, Bakelite ones, where the blades wont fit in the blade boxes or the spaces specifically set aside in the box??????
The ones with the more orange coloured wrappers (Came with a VC1) on the left fit all but none of the others will. I have no idea why they did this.
