Alessi (R. Sapper) Moka Pot

Hi folks,
I know at least one of you owns an Alessi moka pot of the kind designed by Richard Sapper:

I've had mine for a few months already (got a good price on youknowwhere), and as much as I love it, I have a recurring problem: the coffee comes out room temperature. It's never really warm, like coffee from a Bialetti or an actual espresso machine is. I've felt the metal in the top part before the coffee percolates, and it does get warm, so I don't think the problem is that the coffee gets cooled down as soon as it is done. Does anyone have a solution for this?
