Alabama Blowout

I expected a closer game than it turned out to be - but congrats to Alabama on a great victory.

I expected it to be closer, too. Leading up to the game, several analysts commented that Alabama had an edge due to the experience of being in these big games, and I think that had quite a bit to do with what happened in the game.
I am so proud of the Tide! I am also very impressed with the Irish. Their coach and their team were nothing but class. I know how difficult a loss like that is, but they carried themselves well. Irish fans, take heart. You will be back, and I will root for you next year, except, of course, against Bama.

Didn't even bother with the 2nd half. Frankly, the damn commercials are really getting to me. 60 minutes of ball, 180 minutes of commercials- repetitive commercials. That's one reason I don't watch regular TV except for sporting events- and less of that now as well. Sorry- rant/ off.

The Irish were simply overmatched in that game. The Irish had a great season, and hopefully they can build on this season from a recruiting standpoint. I know ND is one of those love 'em or hate 'em programs. But imo when ND does well in football it's good for college football as a whole.

That game showed how out manned ND and many of the non-SEC opponents really are. ND deserved to be in the game, and it must be played out on the field, but in many ways the outcome was to be expected.
