What's new

Ahhh I now have close to 200 blades!

So after going through a blade sampler with a Merkur HD, I decided to purchase a 100 pack of Feathers.

Decided while Feathers were a sharp blade, the HD just wasnt giving me a close shave. So went to the extreme and purchased an R41. Now that I love the R41 I find the Feathers to be very sharp in them of course but felt they were lacking in smoothness.

So now I ordered 50 Super Iridiums blindly lol. Well I trust the folks on here, they have made my other blind purchases in the past a success. Hopefully I will like them even more than Feathers in the R41. If that ends up being the case I might sell most/all of my Feathers.

I still also have many blades still left from the sampler which I didnt end up using all of (1 Astra, many Treet, Gillette yellow, blue and green) and a few Personna Meds that were generously PIF'd to me.

And I thought all you people with many different blades were crazy! Now I know how the collection probably started..

You can send em my way if you don't care for em, and I'll dispose of them for ya safely and properly ;)

note: this offer also applies to unwanted beer and cash. Tobacco products not accepted. Thank you for understanding.

Do not listen to this hooligan, he is trying to confuse you. I'll give you 5$ for these Super whatever things, they are sharp as a butter knife anyway.

note: I accept Tobacco products, if they are Cuban.

At the small cost of blades it is silly NOT to buy them by the 100 count. A couple hundred here, a couple hundred there and all of a sudden it is a few thousand in this drawer and another thousand on that shelf.

Oh..... did I mention? They interbreed... so you end up having all kinds of weird blades showing up in your shave den that you don't remember ever seeing before.

+1 When you get close to 5,000 and up, then you may start to wonder if you have too many, especially, if you are over 40! :wink2:

Blades don't usually interbreed, but if you're from Appalachia you better keep them at least one shelf apart.

I did look at my face last morning and a pack of 100 Feather's thinking ... who will use the other 99 )
Maybe I should write a will so that all of my razors, etc. Should end up at a lottery at B & B )))
