Does anyone age their tubs of cream ?
At the start of the pandemic I bought extra supply of tubs of Taylor of Old Bond Street , Organic .
I shaved less and some of the bowls dried and turned into hard croaps producing the best creamy lather !
Now I age all my tubs of cream .

How was it stored? I recently had the cap on a tube of Proraso Blue fail and so I transferred the contents to a tub; I would actually prefer the cream to dry out a bit and turn into a croap.Does anyone age their tubs of cream ?

That's good to know as it gives me one less excuse for my anxiety. I got ninety-nine problems, but a [dried cream] ain't one.I have a couple of tubs of TOBS that are at least 9-10 years old that have dried out and are almost as hard as a solid puck of soap. They still have their scent and they still produce a very good lather.
