Is it ok to put a bottle of aftershave in the refrigerator during the summer months? I hear that this works pretty well, or is this just an old wives tale?

It should work just fine.
When I travel I use Vodka as an aftershave and I keep it in the fridge.

All my summer AS's live in the FREEZER. You don't REALLY know Osage Rub until you put it on cold!
My Osage Rub will be moving to the fridge soon!
My Stephan's Lime will be going in the fridge next month.
I put aqua velva in the freezer once. The results weren't so mind blowing that I'd continue doing it.
