Aftershave sans shave

Anyone else use aftershave balm even without a shave?

I don't need to shave everyday, but I find myself throwing on some Mama Bear's Summer Peppermint balm on either way. It feels awesome, especially on these hot summer days. And I figure its probably good to do as far as skin conditioning. No shave required.

Just about everyone that has been at this a little while finds themselves splashing, rubbing, spraying, sniffing, or otherwise messing with their shave stuff at various points throughout the day regardless of their actual intent to shave. I must admit, I loves me some SCS Sahara...

In the desert heat the occasional splash of Osage Rub is quite refreshing. Also Bay Rums are great anytime of the year.

I like a little C&E nomad before I go to bed. It makes your face feel cool and refreshed, which is especially nice this time of year.

I routinely splash on Clubman after I shower. Very refreshing at the end of a long day, with or without a shave.

I don't use balms, but I use my splashes whenever I feel like it; not just after a shave.

I have been known to randomly splash on a little Musgo Real when I want to smell like awesomesauce. The shave is optional.

I usually splash a little AS before I go to bed. Why not? You don't smell the dogs as much.

I use Realm balm that I get from Phil at Bullgoose. My wife loves the scent and it is very soothing even if I don't shave. I put some on before going to bed and my wife usually ends up with her head on my pillow. Reason enough to use it if I don't shave. Phil has it on clearance and I have been stocking up.

I tend to splash some aftershave on my neck/upper chest area before going to bed. I usually read for an hour or two before calling it a night so I find it very relaxing.

I shave every day, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit to coming back for another splash of aftershave later in the day if I have a chance.

I also agree that Osage Rub is in a class by itself. It's great to splash some on after working in the yard all day.

Yes, I use AS or ASB on days when I don't shave. It can't hurt and I enjoy the fragrances.

I splash on some aftershave atleast once or twice a day, especially before bed; many of them help me relax and get to sleep.

I will normally give my self a little splash after a shower, does not matter if I shaved or not. I enjoy stinking good, and the wife enjoys me smelling nice too.

I have only rarely used AS when I hadn't shaved. One exception was to find out if Clubman would dry out my face regardless of whether I'd shaved or not, which it did in spades. Great scent, but negative (not zero, but negative) moisturizing properties.
