Aftershave Rack

Here is my bathroom rack, with the majority of my current rotation of aftershave. Most of the bottles are glass.

I'd like to give Turtle (Mick) credit for giving me the idea to get a rack like this for my AS (since he's so fond of posting pictures of his rack), but this one came with the apartment, and was the only logical place to put my AS.

Nice display KJ! I should do something like that but SWMBO won't let me I think. I was thinking of making a shelving system inside the wall for myself but I like the way you are displaying your bottles. You got some very interesting things Aftershaves too!

TheVez2, on the top of the rack on the far right there is what I believe says Rexall Bay Rum, inside a lemon? Also, in the middle of the back of the top rack is a white label with red pinstripes which I believe also says Rexall, if am I correct. What's the scoop on these? Are they old school bottles refilled, or are they still in production? That bottle with the red pinstripes is definitely WAY COOL!!!

Yes, both are vintage Rexall bottles. The bay rum bottle used to have a little bit of the original bay rum in it, but the lid didn't seal well and most of it leaked out. It also had a couple floaters in it so I never used it. I cleaned it out and refilled it with superior 70 bay rum. I ended up breaking the cap so I put a cork in it. The red bottle is about 3/4 full of the original contents: "93" hair tonic.

There was a Rexall store in my old home town, about 1982. I always wanted to go back and see the store again. Fast forward to last winter, and I revisited it. It was gone. I remember it was right next to the Sears Roebuck store. Fitting its gone too. Someday I will admit I am getting old.

Well, that is impressive.

Funny what first comes to mind. It wasn't the bottles or the brands. It was, "Gosh, I hope that rack is screwed into the studs in the wall."

I worried about that at first too Scott! I yanked on it a couple times before loading it up. It's solid!
