do I want to smell like gin and be accused of being a lush without the pleasure of said gin
These are not straight liquor scents. There are lots of spicy and other notes in them too. They are also fairly weak and fleeting scents. Most people have been saying they don't last any longer than a couple hours. I have and use them all, and don't think any of them give me the "I'm just walking home form an all night binder" scent.

Cool video thank you for sharing. Does beg the question tho, do I want to smell like gin and be accused of being a lush without the pleasure of said gin
I’m not sure why they say that. It might remind you of a liquor at first, but it surely doesn’t smell like you put liquor on your face. They are quite creative and as @TheVez2 mentioned, they are not terribly long lasting. As I collect more colognes, I have enjoyed lighter aftershaves too. These play well with a cologne.

I was being a little hyperbolic. Just as I don't expect Alt-Innsbruck to smell like an ashtray I really didn't believe that the good folks at Clubman would want their clientele to smell like rummies. :) But this is the same company that makes The Veg so who knows what Willy Wonka'esque perfumer they may have cooking up something special.

I've got a few things to order from Fendrihan and the Whiskey's description of "tobacco leaf, bergamot and whiskey"
just had me add it to my basket.

The box from Fendrihan's arrived yesterday and I had a chance to use the Clubman Whiskey Woods last night and I am smitten. Its a completely wonderful scent.
Top note is definitely whiskey, starts out a little rough almost like Royal Reserve or Canadian Club (not exactly the best whiskies) but once the alcohol flashes off it quickly settles into deep leather & smokey notes and finally a more subtle tobacco leaf & juniper berry.

It has an almost English Leather (the real EL not the modern mosquito spray on shelves now) vibe to it.

Spectacular. I agree. The powder is good too. It has a very similar base scent.
