I'm not a pro, but not really a novice either...
Been using an EJ and feathers lately and got the urge to BUY more stuff.
I got a 1956 Gillette Flair Tip and decided to try it out today with a new persona blade.
Started out real nice, smooth and as others have reported a non-agressive shave. ( quite comfy really )
Well, after 1st pass I'm going for number 2 and things don't feel right on the left side of my face, blade seems to chatter...
If I was smart I would have stopped and tried to see what's up... by no I man on and complete the left side.
Common sense kicks in and I stop to check out the razor and blade. The blade/doors have become loose...
I tighten up and continue on. The right side came out great and no problems...
However the left is hurtin.. burn and some nicks... very painfully so after the Clubman A/S.
Lesson learned... make sure the blade is in tightly !!!

Yea, definitely be wary of that in the future. This actually does happen to me too from time to time. Maybe it's a product of or razors' age? Who knows. But, at least it was a great shave when it wasn't open! That shows promise for the future and speaks volumes of your proper technique!

That happened to me a couple of times before I started paying attention and making sure the doors were tight.
