Admitantly Disappointed

So I ordered a sampler of T&H creams and such. I was really excited to try them out since I heard such great things about the products and how good they smelled. I've tried three so far and I've been really disappointed. The smell of the creams is tantamount to nivea aftershave. Not worth the money so far. My face has not been this irritated since I first started wet shaving. I think I'm going to give the rest away to someone I work with and go back to GFT. Just wanted to put my personal opinion about the products out there. Have a great day all!

Bummer. You can see them on B/S/T or put them in a PIF. Someone will be thrilled to have them. I have yet to try TOBS, but I have so much software now, I am waiting for a while. TOBS cream and Harris soaps are high on my list of things to try,

I guess this illustrates how mileage varies. I actually used a T&H sample this week while I was on vacation. I've gone through a few of their samples and I've never really been blown away by the scent (although I suppose that you really can't appreciate a little sample squeeze the way you would if you opened up a tub and stuck your nose in it). I never had any problem with irritation though, so I can't complain about the product itself. The shave was fine, I just didn't see any reason to go out and buy a tub. But that's the beauty of this little hobby of ours. There are literally thousands of options to chose from.

I kinda like a little sample squeeze from time to time. Wait--what are we talking about?

Bcobu which three have you tried so far? Other than the scent what did you think of the performance?

My favorite (and one of my top three creams) is the Ultimate Comfort. It is specifically designed for sensitive skin. If you haven't used it yet, give it a try before you get rid of the samples. I find T&H products to be top shelf and always give me a luxurious shave.

+1 I love the west indies lime and I always get a great shave.

Chris,
I've tried Ultimate Comfort, 1805, West Indies, the one that starts with a "T" (I can't remember off the top of my head) and, as of this morning, Graftar (I think that's how you spell it). I have to admit, I used my GFT skinfood, the Graftar, then the skinfood again as an AS and I absolutely LOVED the smell. It was a really nice shave too. Interesting how creams from the same business can be so very different. I'm going to take a picture and give away the rest to someone. I'll be gone for a week or so, but towards the middle of July it'll be posted. Thanks for the idea there Dean.
