Adjustable Poll

Hello,

I just wanted to take a quick poll on who's using what adjustable razor.
Feel free to comment on the shave or if you prefer one over the other and why.

Slim and Super Adjustables. They're the only adjustables I have. I want to get a Progress, but don't have the funds.
I don't have a strong preference between the Slim and the Super(short handle).
They both shave great. BBS is BBS is BBS is BBS.
Either one loaded with a Shark Super Stainless is good for me.

I have a Progress that I enjoy quite a bit. The handle is a bit short so I ordered a extra long knob from Bobsrazorwroks. Now its perfect. Ironicly I won a Fatboy, Slim, and Super Adjustable on ebay this weekend. DEBAD....

I can't select one. I like three equally: FB, Slim, and Progress. Each one provides a great shave but is different.

The poll itself is adjustable.

One of the most widely used, Super Adjustable, isn't in the poll. Why not? Need to add Short Handle Super Adjustable and Long Handle Super Adjustable. Also need to add the Gillette Toggle and even 195 Bottom Adjustable.

My personal favourite is the Futur. It can shave well with just about any blade.

I didn't vote for any as I only owned 1 adjustable. It was a superadjustable. It was all right but I prefer non-adjustable. I ended up playing too much with the adjustment...

I like using the Slim and Super Adjustable, but my Progress comes very close to these guys.

I have a long handle super adjustable coming in the mail. But I don't have it yet, it will be my first adjustable. I will see how I like it and then go from there if I get more.

Personally, I find it kind of annoying when somebody messes with a poll like this. Seems to be a running joke for someone around here, but it isn't very funny IMHO.

My favorite adjustable is a Schick adjustable injector, but I selected Fatboy, which is one of my favorite DE razors.

I wanted to thank all that have participated in the poll.
I apologize for not covering all the adjustables; I wasn't aware that others existed.
I started the poll as a way for me to see which one I should try in the near future. Please continue to participate and if you can; add which blade and what setting you use.

Futur set at a snick under 3 & Mergress XL at 2.5 here... Posted my vote for the Mergress under Progress for obvious reasons...

I had and enjoyed a Fatboy. I traded it away and bought a Slim.

For a few weeks I really missed the Fatboy and thought it was much better than the Slim.

Now I've been sticking with the Slim for quite a while and I'm liking it more and more. So I chose Slim in the poll.

but I think I like the Fatboy and the Slim approximately the same amount. They're different but they are both great razors.

What if???

If Gillette still made a DE the quality of a Fat Boy or Slim. If PG sold it through the AOS stores, even at a price adjusted for todays market. With the quality of many of today's DE blades, How would it sell? IMHO it would sure beat those Fusion knockoffs AOS currently is trying to sell.

I vote for the slim and progress. I get better shaves from this duet than any of the others on the list, except the craftmatic, which has other uses!
