Adjustable blade gap on Gillette Slim does not work, HELP!

I just received a Gillette adjustable Slim that appears in excellent condition. When I shaved with it, it was so mild, it barely cut anything. It turns out the adjustment does not work and the blade gap is the same on #1 as #9. It clicks through all the numbers but the gap does not move and is set to the mildest setting #1. Even though it was clean when I got it, I have soaked it in hot water, used scrubbing bubbles and oiled the throat with bicycle chain lubricant, but it did not help. I really want to fix this razor since its in great condition with no flea bites and is my birth quarter razor. Anyone know of a fix?

Pictures below show setting #1 and #9 blade gap on my Fatboy, broken Slim and Super Adjustable.

Open your razor, use a small flat screwdriver, gently push on the spring and from 9 set the dial at 1 (Counter Clockwise).

Sorry, I am not familiar with the inner razor workings. Where is the spring that I gently push?

I did a video, it will be easier that way :D My guess is that someone wanted to clean under the dial and forgot to reset it OR simply simply went to far with the dial.

Agreed, Max rocks. I never knew it was something so simple and that the adjuster could be reset so easily. Without Max help, I would not have known what to do and would have probably permanently screwed up the razor.
