Adding Menthol to Declaration Grooming Aftershave

Dumb question time. I acquired a bottle of DG "TRISMEGISTUS" aftershave as part of a package deal a while back. It came with a small bottle of menthol. I put them on the closet shelf and haven't touched it since. Now I am thinking about trying it.

What am I supposed to do with the menthol?

1. Add a drop of menthol to a splash of AS in my palm and and rub my palms together and apply?
2. Add a few drops at a time to the bottle until I get a strength I like?
3. Just dump the whole thing in at once and go for broke?

I bought a bottle, same thought. DG site says

“No longer contains menthol in the bottle. A tiny bottle of menthol drops are now included with all splashes. Please do not use these drops for anything other than putting directly into aftershave. Keep away from children and pets. Don't get directly on skin, wash if you do. Use common sense.”

Start with 1/2 the little bottle 1st and and go from there, that ratio is still fairly light to moderate.
