At last my order has come in!
A New Deluxe and a President. Both have some minor wear, but are still very pretty!

I picked up a bottle of Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo - Cipresso di Toscana.

Thanks to the outstanding generosity of a member who shall not be named, other than to say he is a member of the Gemocracy, a gentleman, a Brooklynite, and a man of the utmost integrity, I received this in the mail:

20mm Two Band Finest from TGN.

( coupled with my Kent KS7 Butterscotch from last week ) :biggrin1:

I tell you I found a ton of stuff today! More than made up for the lack I've found in many stores I've hit lately, and the sad thing is I've been passing them by for months now!

I don't know what everything is. The Khaki Set is pretty easy as it matches up well with what it says. Blade of boxes have never been opened! Cracks in the handle of this one, plus the other two what I think are Old Types? but still better than one of what I saw somewhere and much much cheaper. I think the cases are wrong for the other two. Perhaps the one with a purple cloth in it is right.

Two round point straight edge razors. The one with the faux wood scales is from The Henkel Co. Fremont, Ohio, USA and is a 5/8. The other is called Electric and man is this a heavy fellow! Think it is close to a 7/8. It is made by Joseph Fenton And Sons in Cutler's Sheffield. Doesn't look to be in as good as condition as the other, but I thought it might be salvagable. Chose it over a few others as I liked the heft.

I got a hone called Barber Junior and a safety blade hone called a Goodrich Hone. Not sure if the safety blade hone will do much, but I've wasted money on dumber things so no biggie. I hope the Barber Junior is in good condition to be used as a hone.

Sorry for the bad picture of the thing clear in the back. Those who smoke pipes will most likely recognize it right away. No desire to smoke, but it works very nicely as a razor holder! Got a nice shoe shine box for cheap with stuff inside that might pan out to be usable.

All in all a very nice stop I had today at that store! If anyone has any comments about some of it they're more than welcome! I'll link to some albums with more pictures as I don't want to flood this thread with pictures.

This little beauty arrived for me yesterday:

And before you ask:

No the image is not Photoshopped; the brush just naturally radiates with pure awesomeness.

...and is occasionally accompanied by the singing of angels.

Can't wait to try it out tonight!

OK, here's my acquisitions of week 37.

A Gillette Ranger Tech
A Gillette Slim adjustable
A Colgate & Co. Shaving Stick tin
and a Gentleman's travelling set, appears to be unused (don't know if I classify as a gent, but one can always hope )
