Today I had my first BBS shave since I started wet shaving a few months ago!
It happened to be my night off from work this week (I work nights, 5 on - 1 off) so I decided I would take my time with my shave and give MWF another go after oggling the thread full of lather porn Previously, I've had terrible luck with the fat but after seeing everyone else's AMAZING lather pics I decided it was time to nut-up or shut-up since I purchased the fat. I mean, all it's been doing is collecting dust in my wall locker due to me not wanting another horrible shave... This was due to my lack of experience and technique of course. Anyway, my shave of the day consisted of Razor MD pre shave oil, MWF, Merkur 34c, Sharp hi-chromium blade, and I finished it off with some Clubman. I took A LOT of extra time for this shave, making sure I put in the work to get a thick and cushioning, and boy did it pay off. I did a three pass shave with a little touch up at the end. That was probably the best shave I've had to date. True BBS shave with no nicks/cuts, and no razor burn. Thank you B&B for not only introducing me to MWF but also being motivation to learn how to build a proper lather with this amazing soap.
