B&B Interviews - Meet member Mariah for Above The Tie
Above The Tie has been a member of Badger and Blade since March 30, 2009
01. How did you find Badger and Blade and why did you become a member?
My dad Stan started ATT and became a B&B member about 10 years ago. He wanted to find a place to ask questions about wet-shaving, and also a place to advertise our business.
02. When you did or if you are working, in general what did or do you do?
When I’m not working with the business, I work in healthcare as a mammographer.
03. What part of the country where you were born do you like the most?
I generally like the area we are in. We are located in East Tennessee.
04. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I’ve always wanted to visit the Philippines. I don’t know if I would want to live there though. Maybe the Grand caymans.
05. Do you have any hobbies or pastimes?
Matt and I love to go fishing.
06. What do you like best about being a member of Badger and blade?
I love interacting with other members. Like getting their feedback and opinions.
07. If you could choose any person in the world, now or from the past, who would you like to sit down and have a drink with?

08. What is something you'd like to do, but have not had the opportunity to do it?
Go to culinary school. I don’t want to be chef, I just want to learn!
09. What is one thing or accomplishment in your life that you are proud of?
Our kids.
10. What is one piece of advice that you would offer to people in general?
First, be kind to people, you never know what they’re going through. Second, take care of yourself. You can’t pour from an empty cup.
11. If you could have any super hero power, what would you choose?
Super speed. That way I might actually get some things done! lol
12. If you had to choose to be a kind of animal, what would you want to be?
I’m not sure…maybe an otter? They seem like they don’t have much to worry about.
13. What kind of music do you like?
All kinds. I listen to a lot of classic rock, stuff from the 80’s, 90’s, early 2000’s. I enjoy classical too. I can pretty much appreciate any type.
14. If you could be any movie character, who would you like to be?
Black widow. She’s pretty cool and I’ve always wanted to know martial arts.
15. If someone wrote a book about your life, what would the Title of that book be?
I’m not sure anyone would want to write a book about us. We’re not very exciting. Outside of work and taking care of the kids and the house, we don’t really have much time for anything else.
