From poking around on the ATT website, the head lools to be the ATT SE1?

Is so, ATT specs Feather Artist Club or Kai Captain blades.

Am I reading all of this correctly?

Thank you. :)

I think thats the ATT Calypso SE1 head. Its aluminum where the regular SE1 is stainless. Geometries between the aluminum and stainless heads I believe are the same.

I also understand that it will accept all AC type blades.

Yes it looks like their ATT SE1. It will also take the Schick Proline blades.

Thank you both very much. :)

I will get a variety of AC blades ordered. :)

You're welcome.

I'm very curious to hear your thoughts on it compared to your MMOC.

Chan Eil Whiskers

Fumbling about.
The blades may seem harsh during the first shave and then smooth out. Not that I've used all of the AC blades but it's been my experience with the ones I've tried in my AC platform razors.

Also, with these razors I flip the blade after every shave. I think that helps and know it doesn't hurt. The blade lasts forever.

Happy shaves,

Jim

Should be a very interesting comparison.

Thank you for the tip about flipping the blade after each shave. I will definitely do so.

Feather AC blades are on the way. :)

No matter the blade or razor, I flip every blade before every shave.

Good to know.

Well, we have a dinner meeting tonight. Think I'll go ahead and try the MMOC before we go.

Impressions to follow.

I hope you dont end up going like this lol.

Gently remember. The first time I touched that razor to my skin I cut the top of my cheek because I wasnt using it properly.

LOL.....that is great! 🤣

Finished my first SE shave and only required two units of blood. ;)

Just kidding. ;)

Was not nearly that bad. Took things REALLY light and easy. Because I was really light on the pressure (and did not know what I was doing ;)) the shave was not as close as I know these razors can get.

Ended up somewhere around SAS - CCS. Had four minor weepers that the Alum resolved.

Splashing The Veg on was quite....."invigorating".

All in all, not a bad first result at all. :)
