What's new

A very Speick weekend!

I was excited to get my order from Fendrihan.com on Friday! Do you think I might have a thing for Speick? I've had a chance to dig into most of it, and I've gotta say I love the TOBS Eaton College cream. My first time using TOBS, and I'm so impressed with how rich the lather is even using my boar brush.

I've been using a Speick tallow stick for the past few months and I was expecting the after shave, cream, and cologne to smell the same, but they don't really. Not that I dislike them, but they are different. The after shave lotion feels great! I can't believe I've been putting up with that colored alcohol passing as after shave all this time!

Now, Monday morning will be test time to see if I can man-up to the Feathers!

Nice loot! Enjoy the new arrivals and please come back and tell us how everything performs.

Will do!
I've been lurking around on B&B for a few months now, and I feel guilty for not participating since it's such a great place. Plan to change that from now on!

what does that cream smell like? (comparatively-speaking wise.)

is it like a unique cologne scent, or does it smell like something else?

I saw someone refer to the scent as having more lavender in it, and I'm inclined to agree, at least initially. I haven't had the chance to do more than rub some around in my fingers, but that note did stand out. The cologne smells different still. Certainly not much of a lavender smell. If I had to be disappointed with any of them, it would be the cologne. That said, it's a $25 bottle. If I was looking for something that smelled as wonderful and complex as something made by Hermes, I'd be foolish.

Well done. This is a good product line. I'm a huge fan of all of it. SS and AS.

The Speick After Shave Lotion truly is a stellar product. It has all sorts of goodies like witch hazel, alum, lemon oil and of course, the extract of the Speick plant itself. It's my favourite A/S, closely followed by German Pitralon.
