What is a vape? I'm too much of a traditionalist I suppose
I honestly use a vape when it is much too windy outside to enjoy a pipe. It is easy, and you can use it inside. Although some people also smoke inside but I would never think of it. (Not that there is anything wrong with those that do, I'm just not the only one in the house)
I was kinda wondering about the Vape thing too but figured some of you guys must enjoy it...and if you enjoy it, then I'm all for it!

It's synonymous with e-cigs. There's no smoke, just vapor... hence "vaping" instead of "smoking."
Plus... my setup looks absolutely nothing like a cigarette, so it feels a bit silly calling it an e-cig.

Meh... might as well just post my mods in retrospect.
While it's not tobacco, I don't mind the vapers hanging out in the BL. I'm sure they appreciate a nonjudgmental area to discuss their hobby/habit as much as the rest of us. As long as there are no anti-tobacco rants from the vaping crowd, they're welcome as far as I'm concerned. As long as they don't blow that bubble gum scented vapor my direction when im having a cigar of course.

If it wasn't for my ecig I would still be using cigarettes and not where I am now which is tobacco free aside from my occasional cigars and pipes.

My thought process was (agree or disagree) that this is the brownleaf, not the all things inhaled forum.
Brown leaf here traditionally equated to cigars and pipes.
Although it helped you kick cigs (congratulations) I still don't see its place on here.
I mean no disrespect to anyone who partakes in "E-juice"
IMHO, the more the merrier. The BL has been much maligned and had so many restrictions in the past that I would hesitate to throw any sort out now just because. As long as all discourse between sides is civil, I see no problem.

While we're talking about ecigs. I remember the first time I saw someone vaping.
I was sitting in the Flying Saucer in Little Rock getting a good buzz on, watching the breaking news that Michael Jackson had just died when this woman who was probably not as old as her rough appearance projected sat two stools down smoking a cigarette that didn't burn, but lit up like Rudolph every time she took a drag.
I was terribly confused.
