A Torrey & A Pearl

Just wrapped up these two blades. They had a lot of pitting an oxidation, I cleaned them up a bit, they look much cleaner and shinier in person, I couldnt get the right lighting to day for some nice shots, it was a long day!:wink2:!

The first is the pearl, I used white pearl acrylic with a teal pearl spacer. The pins are silver nickle with stainless washers.

The Torrey, I love this color of acrylic! Its a reddish brown faux tortoise type of color. It looks great in person! The pins are silver nickle with stainless washers.

As usual Ernie, fantastic work. They are both great looking razors. It must be satisfying to bring a quality straight back from the dead so to speak so it will get used for many more years. Your scales are first rate. Do you make them all yourself?

Thank you, and yes, that is my main motivation, I love looking at the befores and seeing that I gave something a lil makeover and a 2nd chance. Thanks again for the scales comment. And yes, I make my own scales. I really dont plan them out, I draw a rough sketch around the blade. and by the time im done, they look nothing like what I drew. lol.

Where do you get your material for? Some of the stuff I've seen you use is fantastic.

Very nice... This is where I would do black scales for the Pearl... So it becomes the Black Pearl...
