A restoration experiment

Hi,
Today I found that if a boar brush is lightly swirled and forcefully stropped on a lightly wet palm (and some good shampoo maybe) after 15 minutes or so sticking of bristles on each other disappears and the boar brush obtains a badger like view from the top.

I feel that a video will be good. I will be needing another 'tired' boar brush to show before and after photos in my second experiment. I'm out of stock for now :001_smile

Not really sure what you're asking; I generally take my boar brushes and "paint" a hanging towel somewhat lightly. It helps dry and separate the tips of the brush. It's still somewhat clumped, but I'll check on them the next day and sort of fan the tips with my fingers to help separate the clumps. I only bother with this while I'm breaking it in. A broken-in brush will still clump some, but I suppose I don't care because I'm no longer trying to accelerate break-in.
