Yeah, it's pretty unique. More complicated than it needs to be, really, but still very cool if you like things mechanical (I do). As for the shave, it's pretty darn good. It's not mild, for sure, but it's not R-41 scary either. I'd put it at about Gillette Long comb NEW, or maybe Old Type, efficiency wise. Of course, it's a slant, so the shave reflects that character, but it's quite smooth and predictable. Overall a nice performer. In fact, I think I'll use it tomorrow.
