A quick shave and a brush up 1900

Like G.A. Smith's earlier Old Man Drinking a Glass of Beer (1898), A Quick Shave and Brush-Up is a vehicle for the Brighton comedian Tom Green, whose various grimaces when shaving and grooming himself constitute the entertainment. It's also a record of a time when cut-throat razors were a standard part of a gentleman's toiletry kit.

Neat! Thanks for the post! It's fun to see so little has changed over the century. A good straight shave still makes guys smile afterwards.

While I realize that he's pretending, his blade angle is pretty wacked. ;)
