Notes:

Two giants from Greece. Using @Lambda Razors Ares v2 and Athena simultaneously is such a great start of this Sunday! I had a great time using them both. The Ares just a tad more aggressive on blade feel, but wonderfully smooth and the Athena following along. Appearing to be very mild, but in the end she surprises you with endless smoothness. ATG both of these razors are unbeatable. I gave the job to Athena today. I paired the razors with two @lasta handles today to keep the weight equal between them even though I love the OEM Athena handle very much. Worked out really well.

The blades were binned after the shave with a respectable amount of shaves on them. Overall these are good blades. I might cork them next time to smoothen out those first couple of shaves. But they give a very decent DFS++ shave on average and this last tuck was near BBS most of the time.

Final use of the 2BED for the 18th Brush Chronicle. HWF is such a lovely soap. Lathers super easy, so I didn’t want to give the brush a hard time this final run. Not that it has a hard time with soaps in general. I found a very good overall performance. Really happy with this one in my rotation.

Boris @blethenstrom mentioned he gives his razors similar airtime. I have made a list of razors that have gotten less than 20 shaves at the moment and I am going to be giving them extra attention by bringing them all to at least 20 shaves. I will take it from there whether or not I will continue to 30 shaves and so on. For now I kind of like the idea. Might even be a way to rejoin SWS by @Rusty Blade. So razor of the week is the Rocket HD. Phenomenal razor that ranks very highly in my shaving statistics. I started the shave with the Tek. Mega effectiveness, especially when paired with a fresh BIC. This is actually my first time ever using these blades. Growth was on the milder side today and the first pass with the Tek was already very effective. Surprisingly smooth relatively speaking - given the mega positive exposure of the Tek. One red spot on the chin that disappeared post shave. Not during the shave, so facial impact was lowered accordingly. Subsequent XTG and ATG passes were done with the Rocket. At first it didn’t feel like it was shaving or cutting at all, until I paid more attention to audio feedback. It was being very effective at its job. Little audio feedback and smoothness all round. I was a little more careful on the neck though, and that decreased effectiveness slightly - but overall this was an excellent shave!

I actually thought my Brush Chronicle was over yesterday, but I realised I miscounted - so today is the final shave. Three times is a charm so I used HWF again. This is a very dependable soap for this brush and the brush is very dependable with this soap. Superb lather therefore and everything I said yesterday still holds true for this brush. Wonderful!

You probably have a lot more razors to bring up together in the number of shaves then me though. I think I have like 22 razors.

I've currently got about 240 razors and shave every other day. For me to use each one 20 times, I would need 60 years. All I've got to do is buy no more razors and live to age 123. Easy peezy!

The best news for a while... I only have one DE I haven't used yet, not counting the three new ones... I still have to get to my birth year SuperSpeed Y2, 1953....I almost got there a few shaves ago, but I didn't make it.

That means... I still have to get to my Schick injectors... and if I'm ever brave enough, I need to try my GEM Junior @spacemonkey42 so generously donated to me.
