Don't you just wish sometimes you could dive into the Straight Razor section and find a "New Post" button that would only list the new posts in the straight section?
After you open the General Straight Razor Talk forum, just below the subforum block, on the right, there is a 'Forum Tools' menu, click and subscribe to the forum. You can even opt to get emails when a new post comes up.
