A good night

Hot smoked three salmon filets on the Weber kettle. One is going to a school potluck, and the others...are for me, ME muhahahahahahaha! Oh, I might share with the family. A little.

While this was going on I made "weeknight chicken pot pie" from an America's Test Kitchen recipe...pretty much sauteed onions and celery, chicken breasts and some cream, sherry, chicken stock, salt, thyme and plain ol' Bisquick drop biscuits.

A cast iron #10 skillet, a dutch oven made of the same wonderful stuff, and a kettle grill...I can't believe that nobody clued me in to these things when I was younger. Kind of like wetshaving.

Now, it's off to choose a razor for the other evening indulgence...Is there a market for an Alder smoked shaving soap or a cast iron Tech, or perhaps a Tabac pot pie? There has got to be a way to combine shaving and cooking! :w00t:
