A good AS to compliment English Fern

I wondered what everyone uses after a shave with Pen's English Fern. Does anyone use the matching AS and how is the performance/scent length and potency? or an unscented balm?

Edit: Just read D.R. Harris has some fern in it. Has anyone used this with Pen's EF?

Are you referring to using an aftershave in combination with Penhaligon's EF soap or cologne? The D.R. Harris Arlington scent is quite a bit different than the Penhaligon's so if you want to match an aftershave with a cologne, that might not be your best choice. I'm sure the Pen's EF Aftershave is a match, but I haven't tried any of them. I generally just use an aftershave with a scent that doesn't linger. I like D.R. Harris Pink and TSD Sensitive for splashes. For unscented/lightly scented balms, I like AOS Unscented Gel (not the balm) and Proraso's balm.

I use an unscented balm, as the soap's scent lingers for me.

How does Trumpers Wild Fern play with pen's EF?

I like adding Proraso splash after EF soap, and later, I spray the EF EdT. That makes for a very nice combination to my nose.

I would not use Arlington with it due to the citrus notes in Arlington.

Trumper's Wild Fern would play very well with the Pen's EF.

Believe it or not.
I enjoy a good aplash of AV Green. It's gotta be the green though.

It seems to match quite nicely.
